VHO Celebrates Mother’s Day with Elderly Women at Bayt Al-Rahma Orphanage in Jerusalem

Volunteer for Hope Organization visited Bayt Al-Rahma Orphanage for the elderly in Jerusalem to celebrate Mother’s Day. The visit included presenting gifts to the elderly mothers at the orphanage, aiming to foster a spirit of giving and appreciation for this cherished group in society.
The delegation was received by Mrs. Umm Othman Al-Salhi, the director of the orphanage, who warmly welcomed the guests and provided them with a detailed explanation of the orphanage and its needs to ensure better services for the elderly residents. In turn, the organization’s chairperson, Mrs. Sylvia Abu Liban, emphasized the organization’s commitment to connecting with donors and the local community to address the orphanage’s needs and provide ongoing support.
Mr. Abdul Qader Al-Khatib, a member of the organization, stressed the importance of the local community taking responsibility for supporting Bayt Al-Rahma Orphanage. He emphasized that it is essential to utilize all available resources to enhance these services and ensure the best possible care for the elderly.
