Volunteer for Hope Organization organized the Jericho Charity Bazaar under the theme “In Our Hands, We Craft Our Products,” featuring over 40 talented artisans. The bazaar was held under the patronage of the Governor of Jericho and the Jordan Valley, Engineer Majed Al-Fityani, and was hosted at Al-Limouna Restaurant for one day, attracting a large audience from various parts of Palestine.
This bazaar aims to support women and female entrepreneurs in the community by providing a platform to showcase their handcrafted products, ranging from accessories, precious stones, and Palestinian embroidery to crochet items. The event also promotes national pride by encouraging local production and contributing to the economic and social empowerment of women.
The bazaar saw significant engagement from attendees, which contributed to the success of the event and the achievement of its goals in strengthening women’s roles in the local economy. VHO reaffirms its commitment to organizing more charity bazaars and exhibitions throughout the year, aiming to create sustainable opportunities for female entrepreneurs and support small projects that contribute to community economic development and enhance participants’ skills.
