VHO Distributes Food Packages to Families in Need – Ramadan 2023

During the holy month of Ramadan in 2023, the Volunteer for Hope Organization distributed simple material assistance to 1,700 Palestinian families, in collaboration with the Arab Bank, Anera Foundation, and Wafa Foundation. The assistance included shopping vouchers worth 500 shekels distributed to 350 families from the holy towns, as well as shopping vouchers worth 200 shekels received by 200 beneficiary families. Additionally, food parcels valued at 200 shekels were distributed to 200 employees and staff members of the custodians of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In Al-Issawiya, vouchers and parcels were delivered to 75 families, while Bedouin communities received 60 parcels valued at 200 shekels. In the Old City, 30 parcels valued at 200 shekels were delivered. In the Union of Trade Unions in Al-Eizariya, 69 families benefited from shopping vouchers worth 200 shekels and 19 parcels of the same value. Assistance was also provided to 200 beneficiary families in the Mount of Olives area.

For other governorates, such as Hebron, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Nablus, Jenin, Tulkarm, and Jericho, 500 parcels valued at 200 shekels were distributed, while Kafr Aqab received 16 parcels valued at 200 shekels.
