The First Car Programming Project in the Area – Ibrahim Abdul Haq
26Sep’24
Ibrahim Abdul Haq, an engineer working at a garage in Shuafat Refugee Camp in Jerusalem, is the sole provider for his family of six, including his parents. Despite his extensive technical skills and experience in car programming, he faced difficult living conditions. Although he had high technical expertise in car programming and maintenance through specialized software, he worked with free versions of these programs due to his inability to afford the full versions.
Ibrahim applied for a grant to establish his own car programming and maintenance workshop. He had the necessary technical skills and some equipment but lacked the specialized car programming device and software, Flex, which was unavailable in the area. Customers typically had to travel long distances for these services.
With the grant, the organization provided Ibrahim with the required device and software, allowing him to launch his project. Subsequent studies indicate that Ibrahim’s project generates a monthly income exceeding 4,000 shekels. Key factors in the project’s success included his technical skills and his determination to succeed, culminating in a successful story.
