Nidaa Morrar, from the village of Beit Duqo in the northwest of Jerusalem, is the sole provider for her family. She faces challenging financial conditions due to her husband being unemployed and a child who suffers from autism, requiring continuous and costly therapy sessions.
Nidaa operates a small business producing candies, where she and her four daughters prepare and package cotton candy, popcorn, and various types of sweets at home. However, the tools they use are rudimentary and simple, so she needs specialized equipment for production and packaging to develop her current project and help support herself and her family.
Given that her project has a good success rate due to high demand in her area and its surroundings, Nidaa applied for a grant to help provide packaging and filling machines. After reviewing her situation and assessing her economic, financial, and social status, Volunteer for Hope organization decided to grant her a food manufacturing grant to provide her with the necessary equipment and tools to develop her project.
By the organization’s role in supporting women, Mrs. Nidaa Morrar was able to enhance and distinguish her project in the region. This development enabled her to meet her family’s needs in various aspects of life. . Nidaa also participated in the “Canaanite Women Entrepreneurs 2” exhibition organized by the organization to support beneficiaries of the first Forsa program, held at the organization’s headquarter on June 12, 2024, in the presence of several important figures.
