The Volunteer for Hope Organization is a non-profit development organization established in 2017 in response to the increasing challenges, especially in light of the ongoing escalation, economic blockade, geographical isolation of Palestinian cities, widespread poverty and unemployment, and the need for women's economic empowerment.
VHO has become a bridge for the targeted groups—poor families, youth, and women—to cross into economic and social empowerment through economic projects owned and managed by them. Our goal is to strengthen the resilience of the Palestinian people and to lift the most vulnerable groups in every camp, village, and city from dependency to production, from reliance on aid to financial independence. We strive to achieve this by providing all forms of technical and financial support, using all available economic, social, and cultural means.
As an Organization, we look to the future with optimism, determination, and resolve, rejecting surrender to the difficult realities of Palestine. Instead, we aim to transform these realities into a better future and a dignified life for all. We are committed to working with all our strength, seriousness, and transparency to expand the scope of our work, increase its impact, and achieve the association's goals in Palestinian society, in Jerusalem, and in the southern and northern governorates.
