Completion of Skin Care Training – FORSA Program for Economic Empowerment
13May’24
Volunteer for Hope Association has implemented a series of specialized technical training sessions as part of the “Opportunity for Economic Empowerment” program to assist beneficiaries in establishing and managing their small projects. Among these initiatives was a specialized training course in skin care and beauty, held for beneficiaries in the beauty and skin care group from January 28, 2024, to May 13, 2024.
The “Skin Care” training aimed to equip participants with essential skills for skin care, effective use of modern devices, techniques, and materials. The program included both theoretical and practical training, alongside practical examinations, enabling participants to acquire foundational skills that would assist them in establishing their own businesses in this field. This training was a direct response to a needs assessment conducted at the program’s outset, which revealed that beneficiaries possessed only basic knowledge and required skill development and specialized certifications to enhance their success and excellence in skin care.
The Jahan Academy was selected to conduct the training due to its expertise and specialization in this area, along with its possession of official certifications recognized by the Palestinian Ministry of Labor, which authorize it to provide training. The training program comprised 100 hours of instruction covering various aspects of skin care, conducted at a rate of 5 to 10 hours weekly. The training concluded on May 13, 2024, with participants receiving specialized certificates upon successfully completing the required examinations administered by the academy and the Palestinian Ministry of Labor.
