VHO Distributes Food Vouchers to Families in Need in Jerusalem

As part of its efforts to support needy families in Jerusalem, the Volunteer for Hope Organization, with sponsorship from Anera, distributed approximately 200 food vouchers during the holy month of Ramadan in 2024. These vouchers allow beneficiaries to purchase the food items they need directly from stores, giving them greater flexibility in selecting items that best suit their families’ needs.

The distribution of these vouchers is a key part of Volunteer for Hope’s activities aimed at providing rapid, effective responses to community needs, particularly under challenging economic conditions. VHO emphasized that this approach is intended to uphold the dignity of beneficiaries by empowering them to make their own choices based on their unique food requirements. 

This initiative is one in a series of ongoing efforts by the association to deliver urgent support to those in need and to strengthen food security within the community. The organization reaffirmed its commitment to continuing its work to assist the most vulnerable groups and fulfill its humanitarian mission across various areas.
